Baseball Recap: Colleton Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Patrick Henry Academy hit Colleton Prep Academy with a five-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The War Hawks fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 9-8. The War Hawks haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Kaiden Kinard and Channing Terry stepped up to the plate in a big way. Kinard went 1-for-3 with three runs, while Terry got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Tanner Wolf, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Colleton Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Patrick Henry Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.
