Recap: Southlands Christian Eagles vs. Calvary Baptist Cougars
The Southlands Christian Eagles had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Calvary Baptist 52-24 on the road. The victory was just what Southlands Christian needed coming off of a 60-22 defeat in their prior game.
Although Calvary Baptist took the loss, they still got scores from Andrew Knott, Lucas Hooper, and Devin DeBuono.
Southlands Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Calvary Baptist, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-7.
Southlands Christian is on the road again on Thursday and play against Milken at 7:00 p.m. on October 26th. Milken is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Calvary Baptist, they will head out on the road to face off against Cornerstone Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
