Baseball Recap: Strawberry Crest Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

Strawberry Crest came tearing into Wednesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Plant Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Panthers last Tuesday, they had to take a 4-0 defeat.

Reuben Vasquez was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Nico Cappucci was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
