Eastern Alamance had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Harnett Central Trojans on Friday, sneaking past 2-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Not much got past Delani Straughan, who gave up just three hits to keep Harnett Central off the board.

Eastern Alamance's record is now 19-7. As for Harnett Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 18-5 record.

Looking ahead, Eastern Alamance will challenge Southern Nash on Tuesday. The Firebirds will roll in looking for their 23rd straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Harnett Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
