Basketball Recap: Wes-Del Warriors vs. Daleville Broncos
Wes-Del was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 74-18 loss at the hands of the Daleville Broncos. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Wes-Del lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Abby Jackson, who posted four points and six boards. Jackson is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.
Olivia Pratcher was nothing short of spectacular for Daleville: she went 11 of 15 on her way to 23 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Trishell Johnson, who had four points and 12 steals.
Wes-Del's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Daleville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.
