Greenup County had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Lawrence County Bulldogs by a score of 4-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Musketeers also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Brenden Taylor, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenup County will welcome West Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lawrence County, they will be playing at home against Shelby Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
