Indio is 9-1 against Coachella Valley since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Indio Rajahs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs at 5:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Monday, Indio didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Twentynine Palms, but they still walked away with a 71-66 victory.

Meanwhile, Coachella Valley hadn't done well against Yucca Valley recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Coachella Valley came out on top against Yucca Valley by a score of 85-78. The win was familiar territory for the Mighty Arabs who have now won four matches in a row.

Indio better keep an eye on Mark Gonzalez. He was instrumental in Coachella Valley's win, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Those 18 points gave Gonzalez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Beltran, who posted 13 points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Coachella Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Coachella Valley is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Indio, their record now sits at 7-15.

Indio came up short against Coachella Valley in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 48-36. Can Indio avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
