Soccer Recap: Holy Cross Wins Going Away Against Forest City

Holy Cross had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt Forest City on Wednesday. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Foresters. Holy Cross haven't had any issues with Forest City recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Holy Cross hit Forest City with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Adam Badyrka (3), Jamie Prislupski (2), Liam Sullivan, and Drew Wozniak.

Holy Cross' win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Forest City, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Holy Cross will challenge Carbondale Area at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Forest City, they will head out on the road to take on Mid Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Forest City are facing Mid Valley at the right time seeing as Mid Valley are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
