For the second straight game, Sherwood will face off against Forest Grove. The Bowmen will host the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sherwood is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Sherwood was able to grind out a solid victory over Forest Grove, taking the game 9-5.

Luis Monroy looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Sherwood saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Fleming, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was Fleming's first of the season. Sam Hunt was another, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Sherwood has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Forest Grove, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-5.
