Volleyball Recap: Franklin Monroe Comes Up Short

Franklin Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Fairlawn. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Franklin Monroe of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 13-25, 25-7, 25-23.

Franklin Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Fairlawn, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-15.

Franklin Monroe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairlawn, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Newton Local on the 14th.
