Basketball Recap: Bronson Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Bronson had won three straight games and Kamron Brackett did his part to make it four on Thursday. The Bronson Vikings strolled past the Quincy Orioles with points to spare, taking the game 60-44 thanks in part to Brackett, who went 9 of 17 on his way to 27 points along with six boards and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Bronson's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Spencer Losinski, who posted four points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Defeat or not, Quincy got some senior leadership from Brandon Miner and Ryan Kempter. Miner put up 18 points, while Kempter went 5 of 11 on his way to 10 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Miner's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Dunn, who had four points and five rebounds.

Bronson pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Quincy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

After both having extra time off, Bronson and Bellevue will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Bronson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.3 points per game this season. As for Quincy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mendon at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Mendon has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three matches.
