The West Deptford Eagles will head out to challenge the Salem Rams at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. West Deptford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 40.3 points per game this season.

On Friday, West Deptford lost to Haddonfield at home by a 29-14 margin. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bulldawgs: they've now lost six in a row.

Despite the loss, West Deptford got top-tier performance from Zamir Davis, who rushed for 92 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 33 receiving yards.

West Deptford didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Davis and Cole Paskiewicz.

Meanwhile, Salem got themselves on the board against Middle Township on Saturday, but Middle Township never followed suit. They really took it to the Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 44-0 win. The game marked the Rams' most dominant victory of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Deptford fell to 5-1. As for Salem, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Everything came up roses for West Deptford against Salem when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 58-19 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
