Basketball Recap: Maranacook Finds Home Court Redemption Against Mount Abram

There's no place like home for Maranacook, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Mount Abram Roadrunners by a score of 42-30 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Black Bears also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Maranacook's record now sits at 3-1. As for Mount Abram, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maranacook will venture away from home to take on Lisbon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maranacook is facing Lisbon at the right time seeing as Lisbon is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Mount Abram, they are taking a road trip to square off against Dirigo at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
