Basketball Recap: Robbinsdale Cooper's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Robbinsdale Cooper was handed a 31-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the St. Paul Central Minutemen out 39-36. The win was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

St. Paul Central lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Cynara Easley, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Mireya Jefferson, who put up eight points.
