Basketball Recap: Goldwater Bulldogs vs. Paradise Honors Panthers
Goldwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Paradise Honors Panthers and fell 81-15. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Panthers are ranked 52nd).

Paradise Honors' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lizzy Guincho, who went 8 for 14 en route to 18 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. Guincho has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 15 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Van Dyke, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 17 points along with eight steals and five boards.
Goldwater's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Paradise Honors, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4.
Goldwater wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 45-30 defeat against Moon Valley on the 23rd. Paradise Honors has also already played their next game, a 63-23 victory against Greenway on the 23rd.
