Baseball Recap: Choctawhatchee Triumphs

Choctawhatchee extended their postseason success on Monday against St. Augustine. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Yellow Jackets 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since April 1st.

The team relied heavily on Jordan Figueroa, who went 3-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Carter Marracco was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Choctawhatchee's win bumped their record up to 16-12. As for St. Augustine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-14.
