Basketball Recap: Cherokee Takes a Loss

Cherokee was the 41-37 winner over Richland Springs when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Cherokee Indians lost to the Richland Springs Coyotes on the road by a 59-45 margin on Friday.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Richland Springs, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

Cherokee has already played their next contest (against Priddy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Richland Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-47 victory against Brookesmith on the 4th.
