Football Recap: Rice Lake's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Rice Lake was the 32-21 winner over River Falls when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 40-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Friday. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rice Lake fell to 6-1. As for River Falls, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rice Lake will face off against rival Superior at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, River Falls is set to square off against their familiar foe Menomonie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
