Volleyball Recap: Leetonia Falls to United in First Game of Season

Leetonia kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the United Golden Eagles. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 21 in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-3.

United pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Leetonia will challenge rival East Palestine at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, United is set to square off against their familiar foe Southern at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
