Anoka faced Irondale in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Tornadoes put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Tornadoes sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14, 25-17.

Mark Mosneguta paced Anoka's offense, picking up ten kills. Mosneguta got some help from Hank Anderson and his nine assists. Finally, Noah Youngquist kept Anoka's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Anoka's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Irondale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Anoka has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Elk River on the 7th. As for Irondale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Stillwater on the 6th.
