Volleyball Recap: El Capitan Gauchos vs. Merced Bears

El Capitan had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Merced Bears as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Gauchos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.
El Capitan walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-21.
Tyler McCreary paced El Capitan's offense, picking up 16 kills. McCreary got some help from Thomas Hoffman and his 30 assists. Kory Moua controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
El Capitan's win bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Merced, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.
El Capitan has already played their next match (against Valley Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Merced also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Los Banos.
