Basketball Recap: Mount Anthony Comes Up Short

Mount Anthony lost against Middlebury back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mount Anthony Patriots took a hard 57-38 fall against the Middlebury Tigers. The Patriots' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Mount Anthony's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Middlebury, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Anthony will face off against Bellows Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middlebury, they will square off against Enosburg Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Enosburg Falls has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with seven straight defeats, while Middlebury will come in with three straight wins.
