Baseball Game Preview: Eastern Quakers vs. St. Johns Redwings

Eastern is 0-6 against St. Johns since April of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Quakers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Redwings at 4:00 p.m. Eastern has given up an average of 15 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eastern fell victim to Ionia and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 21-0 to the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, St. Johns had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out Holt 2-1 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Redwings have posted since April 9th.

St. Johns saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Beals, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 2-23. As for St. Johns, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.
