Panguitch is a perfect 10-0 against Green River since August of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bobcats will host the Pirates at 4:00 p.m. Panguitch will be strutting in after a win while Green River will be coming in after a loss.

Panguitch's tournament run continued when they took on Bryce Valley on Saturday. The Bobcats came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 7-3. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Green River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Altamont, falling 11-2.

Gabriel Quintana was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Quintana is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Panguitch's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Green River, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Panguitch took their victory against Green River in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 17-0 score. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
