Baseball Recap: Water Canyon Wildcats vs. Millard Eagles
Water Canyon extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 22 on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 0-16 in the process. They lost 18-3 to the Millard Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-2 on April 1st.
As for Millard, with the victory, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-19. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For Millard's part, Kamdyn Frampton was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Frampton a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bodie Memmott, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
As of now, neither Water Canyon nor Millard have any future games scheduled.
