Basketball Recap: Carrollwood Day Extends Winning Streak to Three

Carrollwood Day had won two straight games and Ayaan Bhadouria did his part to make it three on Monday. The Carrollwood Day Patriots simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Patel Trailblazers 77-28 thanks in part to Bhadouria, who went 9 for 11 en route to 21 points and six boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Carrollwood Day is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points per game. As for Patel, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-20.

Carrollwood Day will head out to take on Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Carrollwood Day knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate likes a good challenge. As for Patel, they will face off against Bell Creek Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Bell Creek Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
