Softball Recap: West Fork Comes Up Short

West Fork fell victim to Fort Bend Hightower and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes by a score of 2-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Gators were not able to get on the board.

West Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Fort Bend Hightower, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0-2.

West Fork wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-0 loss against Brenham on the 17th. As for Fort Bend Hightower, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Gatesville on the 20th.
