Volleyball Preview: Jal Panthers vs. Tatum Coyotes
Jal is 0-10 against Tatum since September of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. Jal will be strutting in after a win while Tatum will be coming in after a defeat.
Jal will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Hagerman, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Panthers came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.
Jal had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-14, 28-26, 25-22.
Meanwhile, Tatum suffered their biggest loss since September 11th on Thursday. They came up short against Texico, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Coyotes seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.
