Brunton came up big in Mountain Range's 82-71 defeat
Monarch had no answer to Preston Brunton on Saturday as he scored 24 points. As if that's not impressive enough, the game was his third in a row with 15 or more points. For the year, Brunton has averaged 14 points and 1.3 steals per game.
Brunton and Mountain Range will head out on the road to square off against Fairview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain Range has some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since February of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
