Soccer Game Preview: Hermitage vs. Godwin

Hermitage is 1-9 against Godwin since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Panthers will head out to face off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Hermitage managed to slip by Glen Allen the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers came up short against the Jaguars on Friday, falling 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Godwin's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They and Deep Run finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Godwin have been dealt a draw since back in April.

With that draw, Godwin's record moves to 9-2-2. As for Hermitage, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
