Recap: New London Bulldogs vs. Mosinee Indians
The New London Bulldogs were the 61-57 winner over the Mosinee Indians when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. New London took a 78-61 bruising from Mosinee on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Landen Thomer had a dynamite game for Mosinee, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. Aidan Shaughnessy was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 5 rebounds.
New London's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Mosinee, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
New London will be playing at home against Wausau East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mosinee, they will head out on the road to face off against Merrill at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Merrill and Mosinee are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
