Softball Recap: St. Bernard Takes a Loss

St. Bernard was the 10-1 winner over Griswold when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Saints fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday.

Lena Byers made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

St. Bernard's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for Griswold, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6.

While St. Bernard had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
