Hubbard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 68-0 loss at the hands of the Bremond Tigers. The Jaguars lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in October of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 43-35 score last time.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bremond to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sam Kasowski, who rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 121 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes. The dominant performance gave Kasowski a new career-high in rushing yards. Bremond also got a significant boost from Jaden Scott, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 114 yards.

Hubbard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bremond, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Hubbard will welcome Wortham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bremond, they are taking a road trip to challenge Frost at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bremond knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Frost likes a good challenge.
