Volleyball Recap: Henry Clay Blue Devils vs. Lafayette Generals
Henry Clay came tearing into Friday's game with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Lafayette Generals by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory on Monday.
The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-21, 24-26, 27-25.
Henry Clay had a senior duo take command as Cooper Pugh had 26 digs and one assist and Jonny Pineda had 13 digs and one block. Those 26 digs set a new season-high mark for Pugh.
