Holy Spirit Catholic posted their closest victory since September 12, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the West Blocton Tigers 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Saints: when they faced off against the Tigers last Thursday, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Holy Spirit Catholic moved to 3-15 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for West Blocton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Holy Spirit Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Westminster School at Oak Mountain on the 22nd. As for West Blocton, they will venture away from home to take on Bibb County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
