Basketball Game Preview: Frewsburg Bears vs. Stillwater Warriors

Having just played yesterday, the Frewsburg Bears will jump right back in to play the Stillwater Warriors at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Frewsburg is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Tuckahoe as Frewsburg made off with a 69-45 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Meanwhile, Stillwater waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They blew past the Hawkeyes 59-37. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Hawkeyes are ranked 97th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Stillwater pushed their record up to 24-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points over those games. As for Frewsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 20-5.
