The Hoover Tornados will venture away from home to face off against the Oak Park Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hoover is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Hoover fell victim to Pasadena and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 10-0. The shutout was out of character for the Tornados seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Oak Park brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on Hoover with a sharp 16-4 win on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Mason Tannous made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Tannous was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Oak Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hoover only managed nine hits.

Oak Park's record now sits at 5-10-1. As for Hoover, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
