Basketball Recap: North Caroline Comes Up Short

North Caroline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Queen Anne's County Lions, falling 55-9. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Lions are ranked 33rd).

North Caroline's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Queen Anne's County, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

North Caroline didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-17 defeat against Southern on the 18th. Queen Anne's County has also already played their next game (against St. Michaels), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
