Volleyball Recap: Cumberland County Comes Up Short

Cumberland County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Clinton County Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in August.

Cumberland County's record is now 6-14. As for Clinton County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-14 record this season.

Cumberland County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Russell County at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Clinton County, they will be playing at home against Somerset at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
