Lakin came tearing into Monday's matchup with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Lyons Lions by a score of 2-0.

Lakin easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-19.

Lakin's victory bumped their record up to 33-4. As for Lyons, their loss dropped their record down to 7-26.

Coincidentally, Lakin and Lyons will both be playing Norton the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Bluejays at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Broncs will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
