It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grace Christian Academy can now relate to. They took a blow against the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats on Friday, falling 42-14. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Battle Ground Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Fletcher Fields, who rushed for 211 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries. Fields' longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards. Cates Kennedy did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 98 receiving yards.

Grace Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Battle Ground Academy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Grace Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Battle Ground Academy, they will face off against Boyd-Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Buccaneers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
