Volleyball Game Preview: Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles vs. Mammoth Huskies

The Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Mammoth Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Capistrano Valley Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past Nipomo 3-0.

Capistrano Valley Christian didn't let Nipomo take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 36-34, 25-23, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Mammoth posted their closest win since September 6th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Granada Hills Charter 3-2.

Mammoth wouldn't go down easily and took Granada Hills Charter into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-23, 25-18, 19-25, 15-10.

Capistrano Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-21-1. As for Mammoth, their win bumped their record up to 37-5-1.
