Softball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Anderson Titans. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Brooke Gentry was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Farrell, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 12-22. As for Anderson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-13.

Looking ahead, Glenn will face off against Plymouth at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rockets are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Anderson, they will take on Trillium Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
