Basketball Recap: Window Rock Comes Up Short

Window Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Tuba City Warriors, falling 69-43. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Fighting Scouts this season, with their most recent defeat being a 65-39 loss last Thursday.

Tuba City had a senior duo take command as Eriana Begay posted 14 points and Natasha Acothley put up 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Begaye, who scored ten points.

Window Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Tuba City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Window Rock nor Tuba City have any future games scheduled.
