Softball Recap: West Middlesex Big Reds vs. Farrell Steelers

West Middlesex can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Farrell Steelers as the West Middlesex Big Reds made off with a 14-4 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for West Middlesex.

Ava Gilmore and Kaylee Long were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Gilmore tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Meanwhile, Long tossed an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. At bat, Gilmore scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Long scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, West Middlesex let Kylie Kimpan and Harper Nickel loose on the outfield. Kimpan scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all two of her plate appearances, while Nickel scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
