Volleyball Recap: Classical Takes a Loss

Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Bennington Bulldogs. If the Saints were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Among those leading the charge was Mara Pickering, who had ten digs and one assist.

Classical's loss dropped their record down to 6-25-1. As for Bennington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.

Classical has already played their next match (against Central Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bennington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Sedgwick on the 7th.
