Football Game Preview: Snyder Cyclones vs. Waurika Eagles + How To Watch

The Snyder Cyclones will head out to take on the Waurika Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Snyder hasn't scored more than six points for seven games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Snyder is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Empire on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Cyclones were beaten by the Bulldogs 42-0.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Waurika, as they earned their first away win of the season. They claimed a resounding 64-18 victory over Burns Flat-Dill City. Waurika might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 46 points or more this season.

Snyder's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Waurika, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Snyder was dealt a bruising 44-14 loss at the hands of Waurika in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Cyclones avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
