While Homestead put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for South Bend Adams. The Spartans blew past the Eagles 10-0. Give the Spartans' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Ryne Michaeloff looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Homestead got a massive performance out of Aiden Phillips, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Phillips a new career-high. Gray Stockwell was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Homestead's record now sits at 11-1. As for South Bend Adams, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Homestead will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair will be back at it again later today.
