Soccer Recap: Kiski Area Takes a Loss

Kiski Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Mars Fightin' Planets, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Kiski Area can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while Mars are ranked 99th).

Kiski Area's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Mars, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-2.

Looking ahead, Kiski Area will square off against Butler at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mars, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Armstrong at 7:00 p.m. on October 7.
