Basketball Recap: Indian Lake Central Comes Up Short

Indian Lake Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. The matchup between them and the Johnsburg Central Jaguars didn't end well, with the Indian Lake Central Indians falling 61-45. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-49 back in January.

Johnsburg Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nick Sauer-Jones, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 15 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Sauer-Jones has scored at least a third of Johnsburg Central's points. Liam McKinney was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.

Indian Lake Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Johnsburg Central, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
